Buist Electric Fireworks
The Saturday night fireworks presentation has become a favorite in the community. Many have indicated Festival’s fireworks are the best they have seen in years.
One of the best places to watch the fireworks is at Bicentennial Park, where most of the Festival will happen. Once the Saturday night concert concludes, the fireworks will be launched, typically at dusk. While the Park is a great place to view the spectacular fireworks, many Byron Center residents have a tradition of watching the fireworks from their homes. Wherever you watch them, we hope they inspire you to connect and love others.
Buist Electric has been the long-time sponsor of the Festival’s Fireworks. Be sure to thank them when you see them in the community. Buist Electric is an asset to our community.
The parade today is very similar to the parade 86 years ago. It is rooted in family, connection, and tradition. The parade brings the community together to remember, build new memories, and have a lot of fun along the way.
Today, the only difference is we have more students walking in the school marching band, small businesses are engaged, and YES, the retirement home float is always a community favorite. Kids enjoy fun and candy! Houseman’s Ice Cream has been known to provide active parade participants with ice cream cones to cool them off. Consider spending a few hours to be part of the community. It is a memory you will cherish.
The Festival could not offer the parade without a long-time supporter. Thank you, SpartanNash, for providing financial support to offer the Byron Festival Parade.
