Starting time: The parade starts at 10:00 am SHARP, Leaving from the Byron Center Avenue exit of Heritage Elementary
School parking lot by the bus garages.

Parade route: North on Byron Center Ave to 84th Street; West on 84th Street to Merton; North on Merton to
Sherwood; Sherwood to Byron Center Ave; North on Byron Center Ave ending at Rush Creek Church.

Parade Line-up Starts: 9:00 until 9:45 am – ONE-WAY ENTRANCE off 84th Street SW to bus garage area for
the line-up (Heritage—formerly Nickels—Elementary School) – conducted by Parade Marshals. Come early to
be at the front of the parade, come later to be at the rear of the parade.

Semi-Trucks: Park in the surrounding side streets off Byron Center Avenue, south of the Parade exit at Heritage Elementary
School heading north. Drivers should then check with the Parade Marshals.

Please have your image pass ready to show the entry volunteers.

Handouts: Candy and other items can be passed out along the parade route. We are asking that candy, etc. not be
thrown from a vehicle or float by children as sometimes they don’t make it to the curb and children run into the street
to get it. You are welcome to hand out candy, etc. Again, it MUST REACH THE CURB FOR THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN!

Spraying water by any means onto the people watching the parade is prohibited.
