There are two age groups for the Kids Fishing Competition. A fishing game for the youth that are younger than the two age categories will be available. Age groups are as follows:

• 5 to 8-year-olds (one parent must stay with the child) from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
• 9 to 12-year-olds from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The following categories will be judged to determine winners. Trophies and prizes will be given to the youth who wins the category. All participants will receive a participant gift.

• Biggest Fish: Measure and weigh each fish to determine the largest catch.
• Most Fish caught: Count the number of fish caught by each youth.
• Smallest Fish: Measure each fish to determine the smallest catch.
• First Fish Caught: Record the time you catch your first fish.

Please note that there will be no swimming or getting into the water. Youth are expected to respect others when casting and placing a line in the water. There is no running on the decks or around the pond. In case of an accident, there will be a first aid station.

Pre-registration is required to participate. Parents need to sign a permission slip. Parents need to be present for the 5 to 8-year-old group. There will be a limit of 20 youth for each age category.
